Neat set of serious green imagery Bart. I am a total sucker for scenes like what you captured in #2 with the highlighted mossy rocks under a forest canopy so it was a hands down favorite for me the moment I scrolled down to it.

These are cool Bart. I like the top down view of #1 quite a bit.

I think #2 is my favorite. I like how you composed it differently with the water nice and wide, with just tree trunks in the background. No leaves to frame the image so it really gives a unique feel to it.

#3 is a more typical view of a river in a forest, and it is definitely very nice. But as I think about, the uniqueness of #2 with that open background really sets it apart.

Ben: Thank you; nice to hear from a Desert Connoisseur.

Alan: Very kind of you, since you're the master of rainforest greens, flows and falls. I appreciate it.

Jim: Thanks. I liked #2 when I was working it, and I honestly can't say why I used the trunks like that, but for sure I'm glad I did.

There are several falls along this stream. It starts off low and wide, but eventually the hills on the sides form to canyon-like proportions, and there are two further falls that are much taller, but the side walls get steep and risky to scramble, since they are filled with large, mossy rocks, dead leaves and downed trees. I tried to scramble along them for over an hour, but it got pretty sketchy and I had to turn back at the next falls, which were filled with detritus. I may try a higher trail next week.

Such beautiful scenes so well captured and processed. Please bring some of that refreshment to southern California where the brutally boring and hot summers are coming on now.

My favorite is #2 with the mossy rocks and soft trees in the background.

Thanks to each of you. It's been a big year for greens and flow in the NE streams. Now it's time to pay for it during bug season. But worth the price.
