Our Focus this Friday is going to be on Intimate Water scenes. No wide angles, this is about getting in close to your water. Whether it's babbling creeks or a roaring river, this is all about the closer, tighter and more intimate view.

I will start with one from Yosemite that I took last week at Bridalveil Creek.

Please add your intimate water photos to this thread.

    Jim

A small section of Aira Beck in the Eglish Lake District. Any more intimate and it may turn into an abstract. _DSC3933-1.jpg

Ha ha, that’s funny how everyone is going frozen now! I could see frozen being a future topic now so I am going to have to make sure that I stock up on some frozen water shots this winter.

I already know you have the frozen bubbles in Canada. I wouldn't mind seeing those again.

These weekly shares are wonderful. Cool to see eveyone's interpretations of the theme.

A couple days ago I did a new to me local hike up a decommissioned logging road that was pretty boring for the most part (like many forest hikes around here - just a bunch of dark tree trunks most of the way). At the end was a little creek that was the only real photo opp. so I got out the camera and tripod I'd carried all the way up and spend some nice quiet time working a 6 foot area. Doubt I'll be back, but it was very nice to not see another person all day.

Two of the three states of H2O have been shown here. Here is the third, water vapor, or in this case mist. Dettifoss, Iceland.
