Dry or Wet?

    A couple from the Icefield Parkway (the drive from Banff to Jasper). The first one is Bow Lake, the second a dry bed - some of the lakes drain off once the inflow stops.

    Interesting contrast. The orientation of the logs suggests that there was a strong current as it drained.

    I do like the shade of blue the lakes take on up there.

    Nice pair of shots, I like the first one for the background mountains and the cool lake. The second one is interesting for the dry lake bed.

    Interesting choices. Both are pretty cool. I like the clouds in #2 and I think it would make a great! The wet one is m favorite!
