    While the trip to Yosemite had scarce landscape opportunities, we did get a demonstration of coyotes huning for voles

    This coyote scored 3 for 4 attempts. Not sure how many are required for a meal

    I only had my 200 w/TC. So about 280mm. I did crop for better viewing as the 5D MkII has enough mp

    Very nice series. The leap they take is fund to watch and very skillful.

    Very neat set of images. It's amazing that the coyote can find those voles through the snow. Were you in a blind? You seem pretty close for 280mm.

    Very cool looking Dan! That is some great action you captured.

    And congrats with getting out to Yosemite on your 1st day of Retirement! That's a great way to start your new life.

    Sadly, they are pretty habituated to humans. They would stroll within 10 yards sometimes

    Good shots! I've seen this several times but never had the opportunity to photograph it. You've inspired me to go look for some Coyotes.:)
