I got some nice light to play with this morning just below Coquille Point in Bandon Oregon. Not a nuclear sunrise by any means but the sun did play some interesting tricks with the holes in the cloud cover to make things interesting anyway.

    C&C always welcome.

Edit: New crop based on the suggestions below.

I like this Alan. Some cool looking sea stacks along with the cool waves and a bit of reflected color in the water. I would crop that white water off of the bottom in this so that you have a clean water edge.

It looks like it was a great morning!

I wasn't sure I was going to get much out of the morning when I first got to the overlook but it turned out to be a good one. I have a few hundred shots to wade through but decided to post one for a start.

Your crop suggestion is a good one. I took a bunch with a 24-105mm and then another set (including this one) with my 100-400mm. I think this one was at 200mm so waves down in front ran off the screen.

I agree with Jim on a bit of a crop. If it were mine I'd go B&W and jack up the contrast for more drama in the water.

I added a new version with the suggested bottom crop. Thanks for the comments - that crop looks much nicer.

Wow - the water is amazing! I find both the cropped and uncropped equally compelling in this case.

Really nice movement in the water, Alan. I too like the cropped version better.
