_DSC7366-1.jpg This triangular shaped mountain is much photographed but it looked nice today with snow. Unfortunately the heather here is at least 2 ft tall so we need more than this to produce lovely minimalist white foregrounds. Catch 22 when we have more than 2ft of snow it is impossible to get here. Ken _DSC7265-1.jpg

That is an interesting catch-22 although at web resolutions I like what you did capture. Beautiful image of the mountain and the partially frozen stream down in front is a neat touch.

The place looks so different with snow. Both are very nice images.

Very cool Ken! That’s too bad you can’t get out there with 2 feet of snow, but I agree with Alan I like the small brush poking up.

I like #1 the most because of the water lead in. I wonder if you could crop a bit off the left to lose a little more of that smaller peak?

I like this new image you posted since I first commented. Since you posted the new one at the top my comments were intended for the second image.

I like the new one at the top better. The more clear weather afforded a much nicer view of the scene behind and the scattered light in the background keeps my eyes wandering around looking at details.

One nit - over near the right hand margin in the center is what looks like a cell tower that would be an easy clone job to remove.

Oops sorry about the transposition of the images. Laptop running out of power and no mouse is my poor excuse. Alan the "cell tower" is actually a passing place post as the road behind me is single track with small areas where " with care" cars can pass. I will be home tonight so will start to produce more images. We spent the evening on a beach on the West coast hoping for a sunset, beautiful place but no great sunset. Our beach of choice was the setting for the film " Local Hero" Ken
