Barn at the end of the road

    I cycle by this small horse barn on my rides and when out shooting film.
    This was about a month ago when fall color was about.

    And here are its occupants on an overcast day
    I wanted them to come closer, but not this day.
    When they do decide to visit, they're in your face :rolleyes:

    Both shot with the Mamiya 7, either the 50 or 80mm on Ektar

    Hey Dan,

    #2 is significantly better. In #1 there is just too much ground. Crop about 1/2 of that bottom barren ground off and it would really improve it.

    The other thing I see is both shots are soft. Is that lens soft or was the focus off a bit? I just don't see anything sharp in either.

    With that said, I do like #2, not only is it composed differently that horse adds a lot to this.
