Another Horseshoe Rainbow

    I posted my image with a full Rainbow over Horseshoe Bend last week. This image doesn't have the full rainbow, just one of the brighter segments of it. This is, though, my favorite composition. We shot Horseshoe for 2 sunsets and a sunrise a week ago, waiting for nice light. This was the best light in my favorite spot.

    Any thoughts are welcome.

    This may not be a full rainbow but as you said the composition is better. I really like the look of this, you guys scored completely.

    I'm with Ben, the full rainbow for me too. On this one I'd like a bit more land below the water at the bottom. A vertical pano might have worked well here.

    I agree with that - until the rainbow showed up I was pointing a little further down to capture more land. This is still a compromise to some degree.

    So far most people I've shown them to prefer the full rainbow. It does have its charms...
