still working on iceland photos. pretty sure this was shot on the snaefellsnes peninsula. the sheep had left gifts everywhere in the tall grass so walking around was like a real life game of minesweeper.

Might take a bit of work to flip that house. Easy to see why they didn't build houses out of wood in this area. Interesting to note that even in a place this remote you can see graffiti on the structure.

Very cool find. What an interesting old house. I wonder how old it is? Maybe 100 years? This is a great looking photo and good job not getting blown up while trying to photographic it.

it's a fixer-upper. it wasn't as remote as it looks, it's pretty close to the main road around the peninsula.

    thanks ben.

thanks jim. a quick (and completely reliable) search on the internet says it was built in the 1930's and abandoned in the 70's.

thanks bart. not just spell, but use spray paint too.

    thanks bob.

I think there is a big potential in a B&W conversion here. It would make it more moody and fit with the scene.

I have remodeled a lot of homes in my life but I hate doing roofs so this is not a candidate. But you sure have done a great job here, Pepper.
