Foggy/drizzly/overcast late afternoon, so I figured I would take a stroll in some nearby woods....
Oh man, the mood in these are so cool Stephen. You really worked those conditions.
My favorite is #2 followed by #3 and then #1.
Interesting - toss in a few evergreens and ferns and you could pass this scene off as something you shot in the Pacific NW. I would feel at home in these woods. Nice day to have the woods to yourself too
Interesting. There are ferns and evergreens around these parts too, but these woods are at around 4500 feet and it is winter. Similar to the Pacific Northwest, this area is a rainforest (over 80” of rain a year). I have never spent time in the Pacific NW, but I bet there is a similar feel with all the rain and the waterfalls. Don’t have the trees you guys do tho (widest trees at the base were the Chestnuts—all killed by the chestnut blight in the early 20th century) and the Hemlocks are dying too, sigh. Still, love getting to spend time in a place like this—really quiet, peaceful, and holy if you I know what I mean.
I'm really diggin that 2nd one. looks spooky
WOW these are so great! I like #2 and #3 those are great!
Love the first two, great compositions.
