I love ice, and Jokulsarlon is a goldmine of inspiration, always different, always interesting. Sometimes you have very few, sparse ice diamonds, sometimes you have an abundance of shapes and masses to work with :) 3 seconds of exposure with my Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 30mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

The first time I was there, we were all running around taking pictures of the clear ice on the black sand beach while our guide, Daniel, told us, "it's the BLUE ice that's the big deal, guys. It comes out of the glacier blue & as it gets old, it loses it's color." Oh. Do what, coach?

Very nice image, really like the cool to cold tones of this.

As an aside, I met a guy a couple weeks ago that has done several of your workshops, Paul Hayward. He had nothing but good things to say.
