Great clouds here Lenny. This looks even better here then on the iPhone! I like the spot you shot this at as that gap opens up and gives a clearer view of the bottom of the shoe.

I love that scene with a good set of clouds behind the scene. Even better to have direct light over the water with such a dramatic backdrop. I second Jeffrey's comment about braving the mobs.

Very nice! I like the composition and the clouds are dramatic. I'd consider darkening the bottom a little bit.

Second that :) Great job on the composition and wonderful sky, but as it is the post-processing looks a bit too "HDR-ish" for my taste, I'd love to see some shadows somewhere, if you know what I mean :) personal preference, of course, and just my .02. Best regards,

View attachment 18098 I have been wanting to go visit the Horseshoe Bend and Voila... it's so amazing and the clouds were fantastic. I was only able to get a few shots when the wind continue to get stronger and stronger and had to move quickly back to the parking lot. I will definitely go back again soon.
Did you take this from the newly fenced overlook? It has always been difficult to be able to see the complete Colorado River without hanging over the edge. Nice job here, Lenny with the caveat that I agree with the previous comments about lighting and processing.

I'm pretty sure this was to the right of the fenced area.
