Hey guys!
Got lucky with some light, if i remember right it was in February, i was going for the the opposite direction, with sun star and red lit clouds, over the valley, but as soon as sun set this happened behind me, so i had to run a bit, to frame the tree in the lit portion, the clouds were moving pretty fast, and wind moved the flowers pretty wildly, so i had not much time to get better FG, just got few exposures and focus stacked for better DOF.
Please feel free to C&C.

Thank you for viewing.
Cheers.

Delightful result Andrey. I like the deep hue to the shadowed lupines down in front leading into the nice meadow behind. Great scene.

Really cool Andrey. I do like how you positing the tree and those lupines are really sweet looking!

I think I would be tempted to bring up the shadows a bit more in the shadowed area in lower left. Not too much so as to diminish the effect of the lit up tree, but just a bit more so there is a little more detail on the Lupines. They are an important part of this shot but they feel a little too dark and are getting lost.

This is very nice, Andrey. I agree with Jim that the lupines look really nice but the trouble with blue flowers is that they tend to easily get lost in shadows.

That is a spectacular result! Dynamic range management makes for a very natural looking scene that still holds excellent detail in the foreground and sky both. And the focus stacking makes for a great feeling of depth. Finally the comp really leads the viewer into the scene.

Andrey,
Beautiful capture.
I agree with Jim and Doug bringing up the shadow just slightly would improve on an all ready excellent capture.

Wonderful scene and great light! My first thought was to raise the shadows a little and I see that others are thinking the same thing. This does have plenty of drama though!

I had the same dilemma, once you doubt it, its definitely an issue.
Will redo and post the results...
