Here is one of mine from the Lunar Eclipse with the Super Blood Wolf Moon in 2019. I was in Los Alamos, New Mexico and it was cold out! I was dressed in snow pants, snow jacket, snow hat, snow boots, wool socks, hand warmers in my gloves, and it was still pretty cold.
This was shot with the Nikon D850 and the Tamron 150-600mm. I wasn't as smart as Mike who knew not to shoot too long, I got a bit lucky in that I knew my shutter speeds couldn't be too long, but wasn't sure exactly how long was too long. This was at 1.3 seconds f8 and ISO 3200.
This is as the Blood Moon phase was beginning to fade. I was fortunate that although there was clouds along the horizon, they broke up the higher in the sky it was. Though there was a thin layer of clouds overhead that did cause an issue in there is a bit of a glow around the brightest part of the moon. Some shot had more glow then others, the less blood moon there was, the more there was a glow. This one was easy to process, so that's why I went for it first.
All comments are welcome,
Jim
