Getting Nik filters working in Photoshop CC2019 Win10 but probably mac as well

After updating to PS CC2019 Nik filters are not available but the solution is simple. Open 2 windows
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe PhotoshopCC2019\Plug-ins

AND

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe PhotoshopCC2018\Plug-ins

The latter should have a folder called Google and this contains further folders with the Nik filters. Select the Google folder and copy it to the PhotoshopCC2019\Plug-ins folder

Similarly any other plug ins that do not automatically copy across e.g. Topaz can be treated the same. Note I have been copying Nik and Topaz across since Photoshop 6. My Topaz filters are very old and still work.

I can see no reason that this will not work with macs but it is many years since I used one and I can't check it. If you are interested the plug ins folder is at
/Applications/Adobe PhotoshopCC2018/Plug-ins.
I hope that this helps Ken

Ken - for my Mac I did update to Photoshop CC 2019 and the Adobe installers took care of both my Nik and Topaz filters. I didn't even think about needing to move them until your post.

I have been unable to update to PS 2019 as I'm still running El Capitan on my 5 year old iMac and unless I get Mojave it's not available. I've hesitated upgrading to Mojave as I've heard so many horror stories about it, mainly compatibility with PS and plug-ins, and I do want to keep my Nik filters as well as Topaz.
Have you upgraded to Mojave and what do you think about it? Any issues for you?

I am running Mojave 10.14.2 (the latest updates) and am having no issues with PS CC2019/Lightroom with Topaz filters. Nik filters can be a bit flakey at times but I have not purchased the new paid version of Nik from DxO.
