Nice one Alan, you have more detail then I got.

Ben yours is very nice, but I do agree I like how Alan worked those blacks more to add more detail.

I will have to first apologize for all of the dust bunnies in the original Let's Play photo. This is a photo of mine that Ben used for Let's play this week. One might have assumed I never cleaned my sensor from looking at it. Far from it though, I just have a habit of changing lenses too often I think.

Now onto my version... Here is my take, I did a bit of cropping, and I liked that B&W feel though I kind of hated losing those cool greens and yellows in the foreground. It's one of the reasons I was drawn to this area by La Jolla in San Diego.

Nice one Jim. This does work well as a B&W

My rendition - left a bit on the table by having to use the JPG (at work), but the general idea applies. A lower perspective with more foreground and less sky would improve IMO.
