Great example of why to use a focus stack and when to stop.

Focus stacks are fun to play with. Adobe has made it easy to blend them but after that we have free reign to compose it as we wish.

Nicely done and good choice on when to stop the stack. It might have been nice to shoot the out of focus area at an even smaller f stop for more blur. I'd crop off the left side tighter to the leaves.

Thanks Douglas. I think it is called a Flannel Plant or Common Mullein. I know it's hard to tell with such an abstract view. Here is another angle Please let me know if I am incorrect.

Ryan, this looks like a member of the mustard family ( genus Stanlea) of which there are six varieties commonly known as Prince's Plume.
