Here on day 3,250,489 of self isolation , I found another image to share for the first time.
Also from Canyon de Chelly in Jan '19, after the evening's shade had settled into the canyon floor. From White House view point.

The ruins look like they are a thousand miles away with this lens choice. It does help out with demonstrating the sheer scale of the sandstone walls in this canyon complex.

Except that this scene was shot at 95mm from the top of the opposite cliff wall.

Very cool Barry! It looks like some snow down there too. It's nice seeing the ruins in the context of the cliffs. Did you also put on a longer lens and get in closer?

Thanks, Jim! Not this time. I had on an earlier visit and it just was not satisfying with the complete loss of scale this image gives.

Great image from that view, Barry. Such a fine ruin. I got to camp in a meadow a bit to the right of this scene. A spiritual event. Hope you had one, too.
