Glacial erratic sunrise

The receding tide uncovers the landscape as the ocean shies away from these glacial erratic boulders, leaving them on dry ground for us to portray. Sunrise at Corrie, Isle of Arran, 8 seconds exposure with the Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 21mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Very nicely balanced comp with a great sunrise to illuminate things. I like how you handled the light in this scene.

Very cool rocks Vieri, and that sunrise behind them sure makes for a great show. I also like all of that green on the ground too.

Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments, and sorry for the late reply - I am on the road since September and will be for 1 1/2 month more, so I apologise for my sparse presence :)

Vieri: You don't have to apologize for a sparse presence, especially when you're on the photograph fly, AND your productivity is as fine as that image. Absolutely beautiful. My sense of loss from the climate change is slightly buffered (but not excused) by these exposures.

Thank you very much for your understanding Bart, it is difficult to be "social" enough when travelling for months on end :) Thank you very much for your kind comment as well, I am glad you enjoyed the photo!
