Last nights sunset

This was taken last night a series of Time interval jpgs at the lowest jpg setting on the 5DSR. I think I had about 5gb of date from about 800 images when I was finished. I shot at 6 second intervals. I batch processed then in ACR to get some corrections like shadow recovery exposure, clarity and saturation.

I tried doing the timelapse this in Photoshop and it was painfully slow. Now that I have H.264 fixed in photoshop I was able to render the time lapse, but it was badly jerky. The same jpgs were very fast and easy to do in Movavi which produced this version.

CC welcome.

Sounds like a real pain doing this in 6 sec increments Ben, but the end result looks pretty cool.

Movavi is definitely so much easier to assemble video's. Where it lacks is in adjusting of shadow, contrast, highlights etc. It can do it, but they are not very refined at all. So for now, Photoshop will be where I adjust the "look" of each clip, and then Movavi is where I will assemble it all. Not perfect, but it works and I really like the finished product.

I am struggling to get consistent results, even in Movavi. I am playing with various intervals and camera settings to eliminate filcker and jerkiness.

Looks good to me - I liked seeing the mountains light up at sunset
This happen smost nights. Fun to watch.

I like it Ben, the changing light conditions really make this fun to watch.
Thanks Jameel. The TL's are getting old but the learning continues.
