Through the Valley

At the Badlands of South Dakota a week ago I had a really awesome sunrise. I had colors probably in about 180 degrees which is enough to have given me a couple of different compositions to work with. Now this one I liked because the clouds seemed to kind of bridge over the land, and the land created kind of a valley flowing to it with the colored hills on both sides.

Sunrise sessions like this can leave you dizzy by the time you work the whole scene/light sequence. I like how you worked the light in this image. Stunning clouds for your sunrise.

Very nice. Lot of elements coming together. Fabulous light bringing out the colors on the ground as well as lighting up the clouds.
