I always thought that area was not able to be photographed, it looks like a drone is the way to go! Good one Alan.

Thanks Jim - you are thinking correctly when it comes to photography from the ground. The only two places where you can shoot this area are from the Crown Point viewpoint (behind me in this scene) and from the bridge that goes over Young Creek at Shepperd's Dell just to the right of this frame. The latter view is looking back in this direction - not up the Gorge. I have shot both of those viewpoints many times wondering how to get down to this area. The trail in this part of the park is buried in the trees just to the left of the lake with no view of the lake at all and just enough openings in the tree canopy to launch a drone in a few places.
