The Cliffs Below Crown Point

This is the view from above Mirror Lake in Rooster Rock State Park just below Crown Point in the Columbia River Gorge. Shot during a break in the storms just a couple of days before Christmas. I love expansive views of the Gorge when we get atmospherics like this with the low hanging clouds.

Thanks Jim - I spotted this view from the freeway just before the exit and decided I had to position the drone to catch this view of the low clouds and the falls. The falls are named Palisades Falls and are dry up during the summer but flow freely during the rainy season.

Thanks Peter - there is a small creek along the railroad with a culvert that drains into the lake and then the Columbia River.
