The Catch

So I have been trying to get out and about more close to home. I really do live in a a great area. There are some ponds close to my home about 2mi walk..or run. I used to go for the baby geese but saw these Osprey homing in this area so I kept going back to see them fish. On this day I saw 3 flying over head. It was a very active evening with the birds. Baby geese, Osprey and Pelicans.

I like the shots of the Osprey with the fish - especially the first with the good profile on the fish. Neat pelican captures too.

Wow! 2 separate catches of fish? Wow... that's really awesome! One day I hope to get a photo like that. My problem is I tend to get lots of ducks to shoot, and they just don't seem to be fishing like those Osprey do.

Great osprey images love the way they carry the catch. While these might be more technical to capture that last image is the prize because of the great light
