You are beyond amazing with these. I tried it.... I could not create anything as cool as this.

What lens are you using?

A fairly convincing result. Nice miniature.

fuji x-t4 (new) and xf 16-55mm f/2.8 (old). it was one of the few lenses i kept when i started selling off my x series gear. it focuses closer than anything i have for the sony or fuji gf. the smaller size of the lens and body also means i can get closer to the ground than with the gf, yes those few millimeters matter. a lot of people use their cell phones.

other than that, i use blue loc-tite putty and wooden skewers (rammed somewhere you don't want to think about) to hold figures and props in place. a leg usually covers the wooden skewer, if not, i'll edit it out in post. i have a couple of ulanzi led cube lights, one was to the left of the figure & behind it on a short joby tripod, the sun was behind the figure to the right. i placed an opaque plastic container in front, camera left as a reflector because i didn't have anything else handy. i used a short tripod (not really, it's a flat metal base with a very short head attached) and shutter release so i can move around and add fog with a can of atmosphere aerosol.

at some point i'll get around to posting a before and after with editing so you can see what i start with. i usually take a few shots first without the fog and readjust the angle or pose or whatever doesn't look right before adding fog. i'll post one of those as well. the fog makes a big difference.
