So I am a member of the Roper Mtn Astronomy club in Greenville SC and participated in a 1st for me collaboration of 5 different astrophotographers which total data on SH2-221 added up to just under 88 hours!

Now that is just so cool! That's awesome to be a part of Ed, it's something we should think of doing.

This looks so cool!

Did everyone submit a stacked fit of their images and each member got to stack the stacks?

Each member submitted calibration and light frames, and one guy assembled them all, but I'm not sure how they did that or what software was used. But I will post when I find out. Fun project.

FYI, besides processing, the challenge has been transferring of files, my latest files of the boogie man nebula has 14 gb of data and we haven't found a good way to transferring that much. It crashes Dropbox and other means and we had to hand deliver the files on large thumb drives. If you know of another way, let me know..
