Rising Rocks

Went out to Joshua Tree last Saturday, had a slim hope to shoot the super moon, but the clouds won that day. Just before the sunset, the sun burst through a bit and added a touch of color.

I drove by there several times on my way to Lake Issabella, but I never knew there was so much great photography there. I really like this one.

The light beige of the rocks goes well with the sky in this one, Jim. Nine touch.

The soft light on the rocks along with the color in the sky closer to the horizon makes this a sweet image.
