Rather gloomy facade

Tough call here. I like the tonalities of the structure but the sky's brightness hurts. It could be toned down and then the structure would be more easily seen.

Hey Ad,

First off that's a cool looking structure. I did agree with Jeffrey's thoughts that the sky was too bright as that was my first thought. Your title is gloomy, which to me means that sky should be darker.

From your edits, I like the original structure the best. In #2 where you darkened the sky it looked better. I think I would darken the sky even more. Once the sky is dark enough, then I would play with how bright or dark the building is.

Well.... the upper left corner was burnt out. Not recoverable even from RAW. So I did some more darkening of the sky and cropping to reduce the burnt-out part of the picture.

I kind of lean towards the second image with the lighter skies. The darker skies do bring out some interesting clouds but at the expense of a bit of haloing along the rooflines on the right.
