On the Road Again

Today is day 12 of my multi state photo and adventure and I finally got photoshop to work on my laptop. I spent a few days with Ben and continued on to WY, MT, ID, more of WY and back to Utah. In Escalante now. Hoping for some afternoon rains. I've had no rain, few if any clouds, and got smoked out of MT because of the fire smoke blowing in from Oregon and CA. There are even fires in northern Utah. I just kept driving away from it. Here is a cafe laptop rendition of a scene I saw often but loved every time. Somewhere on the way to Great Falls, MT. I can barely see the screen in this place, so excuse any quality issues. I just wanted to let you all know that I have not been eaten by a bear or drove off a cliff.

This looks great Jeffrey, thanks for being able to process this. You have been missed while you have been on the road.

I really enjoy these rural farm scenes. I like the color contrasts too between the blue of the sky and the green and gold of the field.

Have a great time in Escalante!

My sympathies, I remember, a few years ago, traveling an entire month with blue skys and last year my plans were altered from an inland trip throughout the northwest to sticking to the coast to avoid the smoke in BC, Alberta, Montana, Wash/Oregon etc...
Nice gravel road.

Zeph, I think I’ve bagged a few keepers this past two weeks. I too had to avoid smoke and my eyes were feeling it so while in Montana and even parts of Utah I just kept driving away from it wherever it was which was many places. I still have a few days left and I am waiting it out in Escalante Utah hoping for afternoon thunderstorms even if it is 100° here!
