NEOWISE with dusk color bands

From this location overlooking the mostly unpopulated (and therefore dark) northern part of Canaan Valley, I decided to try to capture the bands of color that progress during dusk in a vertical panorama. The valley and hills beyond were shot a little earlier than the sky, so that some of the "blue hour" layers were visible, and the sky shot when it was dark but still retained enough blue to be brought out, and the last vestiges on sunset glow were on the horizon. I think I need to work to bring out some more stars, but otherwise I like how the colors play out. This was composed of pieces of four horizontally-oriented 85 mm single shots.

I love the color layers - this would be a nice shot even without the comet but that just makes it even better. Nice work.
