That is actually the name of a lake on the way to Seaward, AK. There is an interesting story about this, which sounds like folklore.

I was drawn to the color of the lake. It was mostly frozen. The first one from the air, the second from the ground. When the ice melts and the air is calm, it is supposed to have nice reflections.

I like the aerial perspective with these conditions although the views might be quite different with no ice and calm water. Incredible mountains up there.

Both of these are great Jameel. I prefer the ground version. I think the drone version has too much sky, and I don't think the ice patterns work as well as in the ground version.

Alaska sounds like it was full of full on crazy people. Maybe because it was so isolated people had no restraints, so crazy could go crazy...

Thanks Alan. The patterns are not that interesting from the ground. I have some with the gimbal looking straight down that I’ll post.

Thanks Jim. I thought about cropping some of the sky out of the aerial version but decided to kee look it as I liked that version better.
