Flathead River Sunsets

Here are a couple from the "Old Steel Bridge" in Kalispell last night. Last week was rainy and warm (for December in Montana) but some snow came on Friday and by Sunder temperatures dropped into the teens. There was a break in the clouds so I decided to try a new location close to home. Any thoughts are welcome.

1) Flathead River - this was the image I had envisioned. It wouldn't have bothered me to get a little more color but that's how it goes.

2) Swan Range - some unexpected light hit the mountains on the other side of the bridge, so I tried that too

Two quite lovely views over this river. I like the subtle colors in the first image but the second one with the last light of the day and the better view of the low elevation dusting of fresh snow keeps my attention longer.
