Fall without the color..

Hey Dean,

I am really liking #1. Such a well composed and processed B&W. The clouds in it really are attractive and the detail in the trees is great.

I also want to mention #3, I think it's cool, and has a real abstract feel to it. I am guessing it's grasses at your feet? But looking at it, it also could have been shot from a plane looking down on a plain of barren trees. A really sweet shot.

Thanks Ben, Jim
Jim #3 is a mountain side of barren birch trees Shot from the ground but pushed in to isolate. I liked this one but not sure if anybody else would so Im glad you like it :)

Ha ha... oh man... I guess I should have said it was trees, but looked like a close of grasses?

Well, I was only wrong by 50%....

Dean: I've seen your color version of #1 and it's gorgeous, but the b/w version is fantastic. And the second at Racquette Lake is also extraordinary -- loving that little "squiggly" tree in the right background/sky. And as far as I know, only you would have the vision to pluck #3 from the mountainside at Chapel Pond.

Great B&W work.
