Dark and Light, Line & Shadow

From my favorite place for B&W & trees, Metcalf Rd in S. San Jose
I've been eying this location for a while, looking for the right place, time of day & weather.
This is a start. Taken with the Mamiya 7, on Ektar & converted to B&W with Silver Efex.
Normally I would have done this on TMAX but still had a roll of color in the camera.
This was near sunset/behind me. There's another composition to be tried in the morning.

There is a lot to like here Dan. Lot's of details like the fence post in the very foreground, the barbed wire, the trees, the clouds. This is a very rich location. I think B&W works well here. Color may have been fine, but sometimes color distracts from the details of an image.

The color had the blue/black/grey skies but the hills a very bright green. Sort of over powering
