Here are a couple more from the Bear Rocks area on Monday.
I wasn't sure I wanted to shoot this at midmorning, but some thin clouds passed and muted the harsh sunlight and produced a usable background sky. I intend to go back and shoot this at sunrise. Mountain Ash is common in this area and produces briliant red berries in the fall. It is usually more of an accent to a bigger scene, but this is a case where it was the center of attention!
I had high hopes for the sunset but it was a dud. But as I turned to leave I noticed the moon rising over this peerfect combination of sandstone, blueberry and weathered spruce.
Comments and suggestions welcome!
