Coldwater Lake

This lake is very close to the Johnston Observatory in the Mt St Helens area. This was taken late spring/early summer. A bit earlier in the year there is more snow on the peaks. The color in the water ranges from blues to turquoise.

Interesting scene - I do like the colors of the water there.

I don't think I have ever stopped to shoot that lake in spite of it being 50 miles from my house as a crow flies.

Sure is Sunny. Very peaceful and relaxing. Not much crowd there.
