Balanced Views

I am in Arches NP as I work my way from Colorado to California. Last night I shot the stars at Balanced Rock, though I think I captured more clouds and lights from headlights then I did stars. This morning I started working the Balanced Rock area. It’s not that I don’t like the classic views (I do) I just wanted to do a little wandering, and Balanced Rock kept popping up in the background. :)

This is with the iPhone 11 Pro, I captured regular camera photos, but with being on the road it’s an iPhone week of posting for me more then likely.

All comments welcome,

Jim

I like the cloudy skies for this scenery - much nicer than naked blue above the ground and adds some (wait for it....) balance to the composition 😎

Thanks Alan. I am one of the rare people who like blue skies. :) But I did like these clouds since they had shape to them and they moved around a lot.

As you know I almost always carry my iPhone 11 Pro with me as my snap-shooter, but also to grab a quick back-up different view when using my big camera. I esp. like to have something to text to friends and family while on a trip.

For sure Jim. I always have a regular camera with me, but I also always take iPhone shots too. Most often as an easy way to make my friends jealous when I text a photo. But now with FocalWorld it makes it easy when on the road to be able to still post photos when using a laptop is not practical.

The iPhones and other smart phones are good enough to be able to leave your regular camera behind like you do
