Love these drip feeds:) We don't see this sort of terrain much over here. Looking forward to your waterfall.

Agree with Ben - keep the drip feed line open - these are fun to compare. The rolling farmland behind the tree is quite different from what I typically see in the western US.

Very cool Ken! I sure like that rock pavement. It must be a bit of a pain to walk through I would think?

Both of these are great. I like I may prefer #1 over #2 slightly, I am liking that golden feel in it.

As for the drip, like the others keep on dripping! :) And I look forward to seeing that waterfall. Don't save that one for Waterfall Wednesday, I think I would like to see that one by itself.

Next drip ;-) The first is golden light on the tree with the sky almost totally blue. Unfortunately the promised sunshine and clouds didn't happen until the last 20 minutes before sunset when the clouds appeared from the West. Weather in the North of England and Scotland more so can change very quickly. The last 2 are taken from the car in darkness, lit by the half moon (f7.1 ISO 1000 30s exposure). The crop shows the trees that I regularly photograph just on the edge of the scar. The limestone pavement starts here and extends back for about 20 miles. Walking on it is difficult as some of the stones are loose and the gaps between the stones can be 5ft deep and breaking legs is always possible. The lights are at a cave entrance (White Scar Cave), they advertise the longest public visitable (is that a word?) cave in England where you can walk for a mile underground of the 4 mile length. I will try and find an image showing the pavement as none posted so far really show the regular structure. Comments welcome Ken definitely not a geologist.

Thanks for the new comments. I am returning to this area on Saturday so may get some new images. Off to photograph bugs on this beautiful morning. Ken
