Along the road

These formations were visible from the Millard Canyon camp, but as we drove out, we had a very close view and the light was still good. I parked in the middle of the road and got this image.

Thank's Jameel, I don't think we saw another vehicle for the first 3 hours of the drive out.

Makes me want to drive right back down there!

Thanks Jim, a pretty long drive, this is about 70 miles from Hans Flat which itself is 40 miles from the turn off near Goblin Valley.

There was no traffic on the road going to Millard from the Ekker Butte campsite but there was some river traffic. Several clusters of canoers floated by and a USGS survey team was doing their thing at the river's edge below our campsite. Solitude was not a thing on this particular day.
