vesper pk.

I got out for a good day of skiing yesterday. Couldn't find a partner (much to my wife's dismay), but this is one of my favorite local routes, so wasn't worried and took care. I also have an emergency locator beacon for a last resort. I only brought my iPhone and snapped a couple of landscapes...

In another forum I read that you can now post commercial music to youtube that will get denied if it's a problem, so I've gone ahead with this little video.

We were a bit worried about rain, but only got sprinkled on at the summit. This is the view north to Three Fingers Mt. peeking through the clouds.

My partner Jeff put together this little video of our day on Vesper Pk. in the central Cascades last week. I brought my drone, but didn't get much good video due to flat light. He uses a Go-Pro so shoots POV.

After a winter/spring recovering from a broken leg I finally got out for a good full day hike/climb yesterday up one of my favorite local mountains, Vesper Pk. I normally ski it at least once a year, but this time too much snow had melted on the lower mountain to make bringing the skis worth...
