poppies

This is from a few days back up by the Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve area. I don't usually get low to the ground when I shoot, but I did a little bit with this one. All comments are welcome, Jim #1 - Original #2 - Brighter

This is from out by the Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve in California. I was envisioning the Milky Way rising and crowing a hill with a road like this going up it. So while the moon was still up to light the hill (moon was behind me), I shot this with just stars as I thought it could look cool...

The winding mountain road to get to these poppies is old Route 66 and is a bit rough, but worth it.
