I just spent a week in Florida shooting this type of bird, but after getting back home I visited one of my favorite ponds only to find this solitary Heron.
This is a wider view including one of the pond areas from the park I was at on Saturday with the grandkids. This is a 590nm IR image that has been channel swapped.

It's so nice to have blue shies back after two + weeks of grey smoke. I took the opportunity yesterday evening to take some shots around my pond.

I went with Nature forum with this one since it's really just focused on 1 tree. This is from a local park about a month or so ago at sunset. It's a fun place to be in the evening, lot's of ducks and of course a pretty large pond, it might even be a small lake I guess.

Well following my previous photo, and after taking care of some of you advice, here's another photo from the very same place (the amazing Val Gardena by the way). I'm very pleased with it but can't wait to here your thoughts.
The last place I took a few pictures on the drive to the airport on our fall trip.

This is from Mt Rainier. It was the year I realized that summer in SoCal is not the same as summer up in the mountains. Not sure why it took me so many years to finally figure that one out. :eek:
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
