From Trona Pinnacles last weekend. The moon was rising close to sunset so it made for pretty good shooting conditions. Towards the end though it was getting pretty dark and there was over a 5 stop difference between the ground and the moon. Underexposing by 5 stops didn't get me any more moon...

Heading out to Trona Pinnacles in California on Saturday Dec 2nd to shoot the sunset and hopefully the moonrise. And then will be aiming for the opposite on Sunday Dec 3rd for the sunrise and hopefully the moonset. If anyone wants to meet up, let me know! :)
