East wall of El Cap behind

This was from 2 months back in Yosemite National Park. High water in the Merced, it was getting later in the afternoon and I liked the way the light was hitting Half Dome, and also how the reflection was a constantly changing abstract. All comments are welcome, Jim

From a couple of months ago I guess now, this is in Yosemite and I was working the backlit dogwoods along the Merced. I found a spot where the river would splish and splash once in a while, so I was timing my shots to get some cool splashes. This kind of reminds me of the 4th of July Sparklers...

From last month in Yosemite, this is a wider view of some Dogwoods west of Gates of the Valley looking across the Merced with the Cathedral Rocks that surround Bridalveil Falls. You can see how they end up being the light/color source of the reflection in the Merced. All comments are welcome, Jim
