mammoth hot spring

Well, Alan reminded me that I almost never shoot close or tight, that 99.999% of the time I am trying to get wider. But up in Yellowstone last month, when I was in Mammoth Hot Springs, I did actually shoot a few shots at 120mm to get a tighter look of the terraces. Please don't faint, I promise...

Well, I guess it's not a pond, but it did turn golden. :rolleyes: This is up in Yellowstone, at Mammoth Hot springs. As the sun was setting it was reflecting off this area that was covered in water and made for a mirror like appearance. All comments are welcome, Jim

Here's a view from the Mammoth hot springs in Yellowstone. I liked the combination of dead trees, springs, clouds and distant mountains. Any thoughts are welcome.
