I took this on an autumn exploration in the Eastern Sierra several years ago. I balanced my tripod on one of the beaver dams and did my best to hold everything still and stay dry. A storm was coming in, which softened the light hitting the trees.

Here's a late afternoon shot from the beaver ponds in Lundy Canyon. The light clouds were kind enough to give me a halo around the sun.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
