Granted, I am a landscape photographer but why not change it for a tiny moment? Today I am providing a photo of our Canadian national animal! It was grazing somewhere in Jasper. Didn't seem to care about my presence.

This is just downstream of Athabasca Falls, looking into the gorge. Mount Kerkeslin is in the background. I did a little cloning work to remove people from the walkway next to the gorge as well as a few teenagers climbing around on the rocks (I'm convinced they saw my tripod and decided to stay...

This was taken in autumn a couple of years ago. The biggest hazard getting to this spot is fighting through the tour bus crowds. Still well worth a visit! I liked the light on Mount Kerkeslin and the clouds framing it. The challenge was controlling the dynamic range so I took several exposures...

I thought this was a really cool waterfall in Jasper National Park. The island in the middle of the river combined with the green water both worked for me. Any thoughts are welcome.
