While reveling in the fresh fallen snow while at my daughters in Colorado a week or so ago I had gone out with a camera to shoot more intimate snow scenes and this is another one I found. This leaf was standing on edge frozen in place despite rather gusty winds. All comments are welcome, Jim

From last month in Colorado. It was pretty cold out, and I had to camp in -1 to -6 degree weather a few times. But shots like this made it worth it. It had been snowing and the grass filled field everything was frozen with frost and ice on top of the snow. This is in color. :) All comments are...

Yesterday's sunrise at frozen Dream Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park. Both pictures took from the same location at around same time, one facing west and the other east. It was very hard to take the pictures with gusty winds up to 35 mph.
