    Smoke on the Water

    Literally. On this day in Feb '08, a control burn by the forest service a few miles inland, mixed smoke into the thin morning fog and almost did away with the horizon. Only the low islands across the bay gave it any definition. Old, rickety pier near Apalachicola, FL.
