columbia river gorge

Last Sunday it rained fairly hard for this area, and I recall looking out and thinking, "no photo today". But about 6pm, it suddenly cleared and I found myself on the computer looking at weather maps and forecasts. By 7, I was loading gear in the truck. I went to a spot I've been eyeing in Hood...

One from a few years back in the Columbia River Gorge. All comments are welcome, Jim PS. I didn't title this one because I don't remember where I shot this, maybe Alan will recognize it.

Up in the Columbia River Gorge it's easy to just photograph the waterfalls, but once in a while I would stop and try to capture the cool trails back in there. I don't recall which trail this is now, and unfortunately odds are it doesn't exist anymore. But at least I still have fond memories...
